Gale was a winner of a modeling competition in Perth aged 18. After several years of modelling, Gale rose to fame as she was selected for a role in a set of adverts for the Italian telecom company called Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy); she appeared in the advertisements of the company until 2006.She was also hired to the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as 'their face of Australia to Italy'. Gale's covers comprise of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ as well as Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale is also featured in editorial pages of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia as well as Australian Cosmopolitan.
