Beverly Heather D'Angelo, born on November 15, 1951 is an American actor. Ellen Griswold starred her in National Lampoon Vacation (1983-1915) films. She has appeared in over sixty films. In the year 1980, she won the Golden Globe Award for her part as Patsy her Coal Miner's Daughter. And the Emmy Award for Stella Kowalski's role for her role in A Streetcar Named Desire. D'Angelo was also in movies with the name Sheila Franklin (in 1979) and Doris Vinyard (1998). D'Angelo was a Columbus, Ohio native, daughter of Priscilla Ruth Smith (nee Smith), violinist, as well as Eugene Constantino Gene "Gene" D'Angelo (bass player and television station manager at WBNS Television, Columbus). Her father was Italian. Her maternal grandmothers Eugenio along with Rosina had been Italian immigrants, who were from Introdacqua. They are the parents of Jeff, Tim and Tony. Howard Dwight Smith was their maternal grandfather, as well as an architect. Smith designed Ohio Stadium, also known as "the Horseshoe" at Ohio State University.
