Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, an actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple married in 2009. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011they renewed their vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning in its production. The fourth season premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social media.
